Submission Guidelines

The Scientific Committee of EAAMS-9 is pleased to invite authors to submit abstracts for ORAL and POSTER presentations.

Important Dates

Abstract submission begins in late July. We encourage you to prepare abstracts according to the submission guidelines in the meantime!

Abstract Notifications: 6 October 2023
Registration Opens: 16 June
Early Registration Discount Extended: 11 October 2023

– Facilities Reports (oral presentations may be accepted if time permits, but all will be considered for the poster sessions)

Submission Process
  1. Sign in
    • Sign into the online system (create an account if you do not have one first)
    • All abstracts must be submitted via the conference website (www.eaams9.org).
    • Abstracts sent by fax or e-mail will not be accepted.
  2. Select Categories
    • Select a main topic
    • Select a sub topic
    • Select whether this is an oral or poster presentation
    • The first author must present the work
  3. Abstract Guidelines
    The first author must be in attendance to present the research.
    Abstracts may be submitted as Word or PDF files. Tables, figures and references may be included, but abstracts can be no longer than three (3) pages in length, all inclusive, according to the following guidelines.
     
    Text Format:
    – Times New Roman font is preferred
    – Use 11 pt or larger
    – Double spacing is preferred but single spacing is acceptable
     
    References:
    If any references are included, they should be numbered in order of appearance in text and listed on the last page. If the reference has more than three authors then the first three names followed by et al. may be used.
    For example:
    “Details on the equipment used have been published earlier [1, 2].”
    [1] Author1, Author2 (year) title, journal information
    [2] Author1, Author2, Author3, et al. (year), title, journal information
     
    Header Lines:
    – Header lines should be centered.
    – The title should be in bold font and less than 101 characters in length (including spaces).
    – Author names, affiliations and a contact for the corresponding author should be listed below the title, all as transcribed in English. Given names should be written in full, followed by family name. If there are several given names that are long, initials can be used. Names as transcribed in country of origin may be included in brackets. For example:

Notification of Acceptance
  • Acceptance or rejection of abstracts will be notified by email to the lead author on or After 8 October 2023.
  • All notifications regarding abstract status and a schedules for poster number and presentation time will be notified on “NOTICE” board in our homepage and also emailed to presenting authors in October, 2023.
